The newly developed EvoShield Midwest Canes arrive to Grand Park to compete in the 14u Super Select. The Canes and HC Ben McDaniel enter the event with a 12-7 record on the season. Last year, known as the Outlaws, the team finished runner-up in the 13u division and went 5-1 on the weekend. The team finished 2016 with a record of 50-20. Luke Hayden leads the pitching staff, while Darien Pugh will carry the line throughout the event. The team will rely on its team speed and high baseball IQ to lead them to another championship final.
