Coach Matt Upchurch and the 9u Indiana Nitro return to Grand Park to compete in the Super Select. Last season, the Nitro group competed in the 8u Super Select and finished the season with a record of 36-25. This team was Fall League champions last year and won the Easter Bash in 2017. The Nitro have great versatility up and down their lineup and swing the bats well 1-9. The offensive attack is led by Cherry, Nickols, Sinsabaugh, Sumpter, Meier, and Upchurch. With good consistent team defense and strong outings on the mound, look for the 9u Nitro to make a run late on Sunday afternoon.
